Clef Antwerp, unique and sustainable Kimonos

Ok, I’ve been waiting to write this post for a while. It was still summer and it was way to warm to talk about any form of outerwear, but you know me, I always get excited when it comes to French or Belgian brands!

Today I’m going to share with you a super cool sustainable Kimono brand from fashion capital Antwerp. Why Kimonos? Simply because they are perfect to wear right now… and also because I have a soft spot for them.

The brand is called CLEF (for Clean Lifestyle, Ethical Fashion) and was founded by the talented designer Audrey. She creates her own prints on eco fabrics and leftover fabric and turns them into unique pieces. Everything is made in Belgium or the Netherlands (for the older pieces) and comes in limited quantities.

She gifted me the Gamora kimono, which is going to be one of my go-to jackets this fall since it reminds me so much of a trench coat and is just as versatile. For now, I’m pairing it with my dad sneakers most of the time but I’m confident it will look good with my chunky ankle boots when it gets colder. Speaking of which, it is 50% off right now!

Just so you know, she also makes colorful models with beautiful Asian inspired floral prints and you can check them out here. The website is in dutch but you can also follow @clefantwerp on instagram for english.

Which one is your favourite?
